Is that a crack in the quill bolt as well? Sort of says that the stem is fairly well in there for good.
The nice thing with brazed bikes is that the removal of a tube is far easier that with a TIG'ed one. probably no more than £100 for the tube to be done, £50-100 for the paint

It's called a 'Stratos' - I'm guessing this is a slightly later version as it doesn't have a Track 2 fork. However, in the 1990 ad I posted some while back, it shows a Roberts curved bladed fork, whilst this example is straight.

Suspect the 'split' or crack is why they and many other manufacturers/builders didn't pursue elevated stays (oh, for an R and D facility...), that and market saturation. Hope mine doesn't end up like this - it did Mayhem 2009 without bother and was fine last time I looked...

Are the forks 1" Mr K?

i figured i have fixed worse. two new tubes needed though. At lease you can still get 531 tubes.

O yes. Are you thinking what I was thinking?

Who wouldn't? They are beauties! TBH a bit late in the day for me now, mine (no where near these in quality) have gone for paint but they shouldnt be ignored in this auction for sure
