The question is, how much is a badly damaged, pick-up only frame with a few average parts worth?

Sadly Roberts would get back to you after the auction has been won and the winner has renovated, built, ridden and sold the bike on...speed is not their forte!

I reckon it'll go for £150 to £200, it's rare, good size, fixable, got a few nice bits, (forks), and a estay and British and a Roberts

Yeah - just in by a whole pound sterling!

I didn't get it though - just as the auction was ending my mrs triped over my laptop power cable which flicked my glass of plonk off of the coffee table and smashed all over the floor - panic ensued and didn't get my bid in - it wasn't meant to be!
