Syncros stem now sorted. Got myself a shim from here......

To get a 1 1/8" quill stem in a 1 1/4" steerer tube I needed a shim with 28.6mm inner diameter and 31.8mm outer diameter. Closest one they did was 27.2 (id) 30.4 (od), which had the correct 1.6mm shim wall thickness. Gave a really good, tight fit.

That look's better , i just fitted a black Syncros stem to my E3 on Saturday so our bikes look very similar

Very nice - that stem makes the world of difference. Now how about some orange grips and toeclips with orange straps?
