Cracked sump woes

Sump replaced - drip drip drip.

did you use a new sump plug/bolt? they have a built in washer that get damaged on removal, if you don't replace them with new they will leak. (only needed if you actually removed it whilst changing the sump.

no, its a leak further back around the gear box.

ouch, if it is a non pressure area you could drain the oil clean it up and apply some JB weld of the appropriate type.

well while its up and in bits its getting a new clutch, lower suspension arms and cv boots. may as well in time for its taxi test next month.

it seems you have to work to pay for the car that you need for work...my luck with cars has been like that for a few years now...hateful money pits...
