Corex?

Hello All

Has anybody out there heard of Corex mountainbikes? I just bought my next project off of Ebay and its a Corex Explorer, it has the same triple triangle frame design as a GT and has a pretty sound Shimano Alivio chainset & crazy bullhorn bars! Any info would be welcome on this.

I seem to think for some reason that Corex is from South Korea, often hand made from good tubing and some of their parts do come available on ebay from time to time , but are expensive. The bikes I had read somewhere were discount type bikes but there were some better than that. Corex road bikes tend to come up more than off road bikes.

Thanks for that, it certainly seems like a solid bit of kit, i have replaced the back brake cable & am looking forward to getting it stripped ,cleaned and putting some slicks on as it could be a potential work bike i think. I also read that they were from Korea but can find little more info than that.
