Continental MTB tyres....a bit rubbish? Or brilliant?

Fluffy C yes this indeed is not retro riding - and everyone seems to like them so I wonder if I have judged them prematurely - there are quite a few lurking in the workshop now so I might give a couple another go, but take Longun’s advice and pay a lot of attention to pressures....

It could just be down to preference and how you ride and what you ride more than the tyre.
That an Schwalbe make good.. excellent tyres.

I also like the fact that they are a German company that makes things in their own country. Not farmed out to cheap labour in Thai or China like so many. It's getting harder to find high end 26er rubber. Their inner tubes are better than average too. Unlike Maxxis which I've had no end problems with.
They have a hugh plant in China too.

Schwalbe don't make tyre in China though, they make theirs in Indonesia.

You should be buying Panaracer as almost all their tyres are made in their own country.

(or CST of course ;-))
