Concorde and the Ye Olde Headset Stack Height Conundrum

I think I've used the Tange Levin in the past in a similar spot. Not sure if it is more or less than the Seiki but it replaced endless Campagnolo mix-n-match faffing when I lost the will to carry on searching.

That's got a massive 33mm stack height - it would be like riding a chopper if I fitted that

Ok, I've been driven to look at www.tangeseiki.com where there are lots of options and so the Levin CDS is 33.3mm, the Passage is 32mm and Shaun's Falcon is 35.3 mm. But the SE32 is 31mm.
Looks like a nice frame, BTW.

Thanks and you can see why I don't want to 'butcher' the paint on a steerer tube replacement. Ref the Tange Passage, I was under the impression that it was 30.5mm. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TANGE-PASSAGE ... Sw9N1V3Gga

I've bought a black one. From 600m away and squinting it looks like a CK no logo grip nut :D

Re:

Headset fitted, back of the net. I can get the bike built now, just a shame the Chorus one that went with the rest of the groupset wouldn't work although this solution is much better than no bike!

Thanks for everyone's advice and I'll post a picture up of it finished in a week or so. :D

Re:

Well, bike now back from fettling at my LBS (I'm arse with a spanner beyond basic stuff) and I'd thought that I'd post a couple of pics of it fully built. Sorry for the shocking pictures; it really is much nicer in the metal, daylight, up close, blah blah... You get my point:

Concorde Aquilia Jubileum Columbus TSX frameset, full Campagnolo Chorus ergo groupset, Chorus on Mavic Open Pro Ceramics with Conti 4 Season rubber, Cinelli XA with Campione Del Mondo and cork cockpit, period Flite saddle, Look pedals and a Tange Passage headset that, without it, and your advice, this bike would still just be a collection of parts :D
