Been hankering for a 29 er SS for quite sometime and quite frankly all these threads currentlty running are doing nothing to dampen my desires ....

Now its not goin to be quite retro but will be made of Steel as i am havin a love affair with Steel frames at the moment ,Now the first is a Kona 29 " The Unit " Single speed pic below now this is a bit of a deal at 500 quid and comes in a lovely shade of purple .

Next choice is a Voodoo Dambala 29 again this is made of steel and is a bit of a deal at 200 quid fro just a frame although i suspect a total build cost will come in at a higher price then the Kona .

Thoughts guys ,opinions what would you do ,i have got to make a descsion in the next few days so fire away .

I was reading Decembers (I think) What mtb and there was a cool looking On-One single speed in a nice blue colour complete bike £599 iirc, Looked very tempting to me.

Not a 29'er but I think these are very nice for £430. 8)

well the GT is only 399 but weighs a ton and ....that Kona is a 07 model and was 800 originally currently only 500 quid which is a bit of a deal so i fink the Kona it is !!!

Try a Kogswell frame from Charlie the Bike Monger, less than £200 or a Surly Karatemonkey pricier but more unique, or a GT Peace 29er which is a complete bike for under £500.
There are currently loads to choose from such as :
On-One
Salsa
Niner
GT
Gary Fisher
Kogswell
Surly
Trek

Have fun, only you wallet limits you !
