My rear wheel in a set of rear facing horizontal dropouts is slipping, so I reckon I need a tug. Any precautions? Do I need a longer skewer? I've got some halo steel non qr ones fitted just now.

The rear end is turning into a bit of a pest, the wheel has to be accurately positioned for the brake and when it is compromises tyre clearance :( its never easy is it

made my own out a 10 mm washer and silver soldered an m5 bolt to it

but the on-one ones work fine if your dropouts the right shape

giving me an idea for a spacer doodah :) I had a set of plastic things that sat in the dropout limiting the length on another frame. This might be the solution if I can find them. Or fab a set up(from a washer).
