Retro Newbie
Hi all, I have this bike, as i research, it's a late 80's bike with good components, however, I can not find the original manufacturer. Here are some pictures:

So what I know yet:

Cinelli stem
Cinelli Handlebar "del mondo campione"
Campagnolo Victory front and back derailleur
Campagnolo headset
Pelissier 2000 hubs
Mavic 4 CD rims
Not vintage brake levers
Not vintage Shimano brakes on both front and back
Not vintage Shimano crank arm
Bottom bracket is unnamed

Does anybody knows, what maybe the manufacture? Also, does it valuable on the market, renew it with original parts like Victory, or salvage the parts and build a gravel bike from more modern parts? Thanks for your answers.

Cesare M was the in-house brand of the German catalogue firm Brugelmann (similar to the UK Littlewoods catalogue selling style, this was the 80's equivalent of browsing the internet! ) , no idea of value but looks like a decent quality bike,👍

Interesting, according to this listing - https://cicli-berlinetta.com/produc...lu1IQUCiTuGaZjL59tijwFI6UTsaLmOrbiasKihq6GLvh - the frames were made by Basso in Italy. However, the Cicli BIMM sticker on the top tube suggests that maybe another contractor made this frame although the Internet only throws up a long defunct bike shop of that name.

The Brugelmann catalogue seems to have been exclusively for bikes and parts if this Wikipedia entry is to be believed rather than a Littlewoods style thing. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brügelmann_(Marke)

It looks like a nice frame but with replacement forks because they don't have mudguard eyes like the frame does.

Thanks all for the plenty information! The forks are cinelli as well, as i know. They were chrome, but rusted a little bit, and the former owner painted it into blue.
However, I think, that one witch all chrome could be the top tier of these bikes, with the campa super record, and the rest of them are a little bit under that with Victory or other Campa parts. Maybe I will restore this to former glory. Should I hunt for a better groupset or stick with the factory Victory parts? Any advice , what to avoid during the renewal process? Thanks!
