Beautiful Carlton Pro MkV C 1979 .The frames are 20.5" road frame.Just restored by Dave Marsh in original team pro colours of silver and black with chrome plated campagnolo fork tipsThese are the race proven professional edition frame ridden by the Carlton and Raleigh Pro team riders.The frame is light responsive and will deliver speed with precison agility.Constructed in reynolds 531 double butted tubes forks and stays.Cutaway lugs with semi round fork and round chainstays with oversized seat stays with slotted bottom bracket.Bottle mount,rear chainstay stop and rear gear boss with twin gear cable tunnels on bottom bracket.Race geometry and no mudguard eyes.Price 500 pounds.Just out of wrapper email [email protected] for more details pics.

Hi Sean
The frame number is WD9000687.I have just been corrected by my good friend and Raleigh Carlton expert in the USA Don Gillies.Don explained the 3rd digit of the serial number is year hence 9 equates to 1979.He has a pic of a 1977 model with a picture of the team featuring Reg Smith captain,Mick Bennett,Robin Croker and a friend of mine from Whitewebbs CC and Condor Cycles in Old Grays inn Road Bob Cary ,in Carlton Weinmann Colours.I seem to remember Bob had a Condor Barracchi copper plated in the shop.

Just checking the provenance, SB frames crop up as Carlton's from time to time............. number is a stock frame as above examples IIRC

We sold the Carlton Pro BITD........... shed load of frame for the money
