Carlton Identification

Hi

I recently picked up an old Carlton at auction but I am having trouble working out the model. Can anyone on here help me out?

Carlton recycled their names for years which is confusing, and most of them began with a "C"..... On first glance it look like a Criterium from years ago. Forks look wrong though? Is there a fame number on it... Rear dropout. Any pics of the seat stays.

I have been looking on websites for a couple of days but have found myself going round in circles with the various names!

I have had a good look all over and can’t find a frame number which is a pain. I hope these pictures help.

Paint scheme lugs and fork crown match that of the 1973 ish Raleigh gran sport. Considering they were building Carlton’s at this point it’s probably a good indication of age at least
