Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Coming together nicely mate! How long does the hose need to be? Could well have one lurking about!

Cheers mate. I need an extra 3-4 inches ideally on the hose ideally.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Found a hose you can have that's a least a foot longer than the one on the Kona so should be long enough. Just need olives!

Nice one, cheers mate.

I'm just having an ebay session for red anno so will sort olives.

At this rate, another weekend or two and I will be riding this!!!!

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Oh I have been a silly boy.

My new rims turned up from Scant the other day, so this morning I was going to build the wheels.
I had it stuck in my head I was doing a 36 spoke build, however, I have a lot of wheelsets, and at some point in the distant past I counted the wrong wheels.

So the down side is I have now got 2 sets of spare 36h rims.
I also think it means in the deepest parts of my loft, I probably have the rims I needed all along.
I will be getting the bike usable within the next week or so hopefully, but looking to the future, if anyone has any Mavic 32h rims in red or purple please let me know.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Another change of plan. Just found a set of Mavic Crossride rim brake wheels.
So now I have the same wheels on both race bikes (apart from the Kinesis has the disc version)
Also prefer the idea of cartridge bearings on a bike like this.

Re: Canyon Team Titanium

7 days since the last update.

So I have rebuilt the front wheel with new DT Competition spokes and red nipples....

I am waiting on a rear rim as I'm trying to buy some others and then will be having a bit of a change around.

Not that this matters, as these wheels are now going on the P7.

Re: Canyon Team Titanium

Had a chance to get some more bits and bobs done...

I love the red valves...

As a nos Hope stem was still in a cabinet at work, it would have been rude not to match up with the seat post...
