Cantilever / V-brake bolts.

I need a job lot of brake mounting bolts, am I right in thinking stainless A2 grade M6 x 16mm or M6 x 20mm will suit most applications and where do I get the ones with the larger allen head.

All the e-bay ones have about 4mm from flat to flat and bike ones tend to always have 5 mm for a larger allen key, just having dificulty finding a supplier as i'll be ******** if I'm going to pay £3 for two Weldtite packaged bolts that are too long.

not knowing what the hell the numbers were, I bought a load from screfix - exactly right until I realised they were for 4mm allen keys - I can never seem to get these right either.

Indeed, they always rock up for 4mm keys and that puts me right off my toolkit logic.
