It is slammed as an inch larger than expected and dismount requires care or I’ll be singing in the choir. Needed a rear tube. Tyres fine. cables shot through lack of use. Everything just about worked. Koolstop pads are ok. Shifters will be switched for thumbies. Every this will be stripped, cleaned and fettled.
This bike feels lithe and very quick to respond despite its size. Joyous sunny evening for it.

How do you get foam grips off without destroying them?

Outsize fun.
shove a stout zip tie in between the grip and bars and pour a little surgical spirit down - it will follow the plastic tie. Then wiggle.
