Bought this bike last week, as part of a spares & repair trio. It's now fully stripped while I decide what to do with it. It has early 90s XT groupset, plus Mavic 121 rims on Mavic 531 hubs so looks to have been a decent quality bike.

Not much info available on Peugeot mtbs, so can anyone here supply any. There's no model name on it just initials referring to the brazing (PBS) and the design (CAD)

Good info there, although no specific match based on the paint job.

Most of the info on Peugeots, outside the USA, seems to be about their road bikes, with very little UK info.

That seems to be the same frame I got as a replacement when I snapped my Peugeot, raced it and rode it to death, then had it stolen in Sheffield as a student.

Never saw anything similar at the time or since, but I did read recently that it may have been an MBK frame as they are were/are part of the same group of companies.

If you sell it, I'd be interested out of nostalgia's sake!

It might be one of the Teamline series

Heres my slightly earlier/ later, top, top, top of the range steel model:

Phill77. - Thanks for the note. If it has to go then you can have dibs. (it's a 20.5" frame and just a bit too big for me, plus I've got too many projects in various states of disarray)

LGF, some great stuff there, love your bike. Still can't work out why Peugeot seems to have so few friends among mtb'ers, as opposed to their road bikes which are well regarded.

Did you get anywhere with this ID? i've picked up the exact same frame, and this thread is THE ONLY info i can find online.

Thanks
