Good morning folks, hoping someone can help me here.
I'm looking for some new brake cables, a specific type but don't know what they're called. The brake cable runs in a sleeve, on the outside of which thee are round beads that alternate with short straight bits. Can you help please?
Looking for light gold.
TIA

Had them on my bike gear cables for years - they are gone now and I won't replace them.
Ifryou ride in wet mud, grit gets in the gaps and messes with the indexing. Pita to clean.
They could be better on brakes, and they do look flashy.
I actually weighed mine vs shimano cable and it was no lighter.

Thanks for the insight. Given your experience and the cost of those I think I'll look for some more normal pale gold outer instead.

Jagwire (I would say) are a better cable, with a good choice of colours now. Also,as bikeworkshop says, the Nokon/Alligator links don't play nice with mud/grit ,and being aluminium ,over time they oxidize/crumble quicker on off-road builds.
