Well where I've seen them online, they've been in 264 or 266 lengths (others too, just those are the closest to the lengths I need).tintin40":243zcsfx said:i would buy 266 & 265 spokes. But i'm just a beginner

230s are 546 ERD. 559 is the wheel size. I really can't think of any kind way of suggesting why Mavic put the wheel size there instead of the ERD, which would actually be helpful.Easy_Rider":12v64o9z said:I used that very same calculator, but noticed it had Mavic 230 rims as 546ERD when they say 559ERD on the rim :?
People often suggest rounding up rather than down, but since odd lengths are harder to get hold of, I doubt whether rounding down by 0.4mm is going to do any harm.Neil":303yyn34 said:Used an online spoke calculator here to get the length of spokes I'd need to build up a Sun / Avenir Duro 17 32h rim to a rear Deore DX hub, and it spits out:-
left spoke length: 266.1
right spoke length: 264.4
With those lengths do you round up or down when buying spokes?
