Cartridge bearings hubs in 7075 aluminium. Very rare, very trick, very light. Front hub is 121g and rear 275g. Front wheel is 693g and rear 936g, for a total of 1629g.
Had since new and wheels were assembled by my very reputable local wheel builder in Sussex. Only used on my second bike (Exact Colombus XC bike) mainly in the summer. The front is on black DT Swiss 1.8/1.5 DB spokes and the rear on silver 2.0 spokes for strenght.
Condition: the rims are totally true ; the original dark grey finish on the braking surface is 80% gone at the back and 50% gone at the front but the thickness of the wall does not seem affected much and I don't how much life this means there is left in the rims. The hubs turn 95% smoothly when spun in the hand (they go on forever), but one can hear a very slight grinding (this is a strong word).
Those wheels are very very quick so I doubt performance is affected.
I will also include a 3rd hub FOC (front in orange) for spares (I believe that front has 2 bearings and the rear 4 but not 100% sure). No rim tapes no skewers.
Looking for £135 for the lot posted to the UK in a Shimano wheel box with the axle end protectors. Will be meticulously packed. Can be shipped on Monday. Payment by paypal gift or other cost efficient method.
I will consider splitting and selling the hubs separately, which will save on shipping but will not save the buyer much in terms of price.
