Hmmm. Having been browsing another thread I've looked around some more. It appears that it might be possible to reduce this cost. I've only done an estimate since it's not currently packed up and therefore don't have an exact weight, nevertheless a price closer to £30 seems likely, perhaps slightly under the £30.
Last time I looked it was closer to £50

Guess we'll find out in time. Their main website states £40 flat and their T&C's cover sizing and weights.
I happened to be browsing another thread with a post from last week, where the guy stated a cost of just under £30 with paisley which led me to actually enter the weight and sizing, this gave me the same price he'd quoted in that thread. There might be something I've missed that alters this. Seems like an odd way to run a business where you advertise a price higher than the actual cost.
Ragardless of what happens I'll update the thread so others are aware, more information being a positive.

Fairly sure I've looked in the past at some, not hugely encouraging. Same could probably be said for almost any of them though. Hermes/Evri, terrible reputation yet have been better overall, for me, than Royal Mail who themselves have been far from faultless.
I'm easy going who a buyer might choose to have deliver, I'm not imposing a choice on anyone.
Used them loads when second hand bikes actually sold and i was always impressed with the service provided
