I have just bought an M Trax 2000 and it has stx rc brifters both had seized.I took the 7 speed apart and sorted it but the 3 speed one when I'd stripped.it down the Allen bolt is seized onto the captive bolt.I had to cut the allen head off.Can I use the internals fro. Any other shifters.

Which stx rc sti do you have? I think there are two in the 7 speed variety mc33 and mc36. I'm pretty sure the 36 are just pimped up stx mc34- so the mechanisms are interchangeable. The mc33 shifter pod always looked closer to m737 xt so not sure about them- I would guess no.

They are 33s, had to snap the bottom plastic cover off
