right got an old steel spesh frame i want to try something with. would the heat from a decent blow lamp be hot enough to remove the brazed on cable stops and rack mounts? also the dropouts.....

I don't think you will melt the braze with a blow lamp.
If I were to remove stops and mounts a hacksaw, file and emery cloth would be the best option. Tubes will stay true, introducing local heat can sometimes cause problems.

Yup oxyacet will do it but you'll have to warm the whole area and whip em' out quick ........ Wooo Missis !!

thing is i want to learn how to do it myself, so as to possibly offer the service to others. believe me the frame isn't important, bought it purely to try.

I think it would be easier to practise on big, heavy frames. I have an old Rudge you can have to start!

You may get away with it if the fitting is silver soldered but brazed with brass would need a bit of experience and luck.

Just use a hacksaw, file and then emery cloth/wet or dry to finish.

As said above, the less heat you subject the frame to the better.
