I recently rediscovered two of these cassettes in my spares box. Bought from Merlin Cycles years ago just as 9 speed was taking over. I originally had 3 thinking that would do me for 10 years, but actually the original one is still going strong on my main hardtail, with regular chain replacement they seem to last forever. The cassettes are unboxed but absolutely unused, still in plastic wrapping with labels, I guess they were OEM equipment.
