Lovely bike that Mountain Goat, shame we didn’t get to see a full-on nuts & bolts build thread. That’s the only reason I didn’t vote for it.

Yeah, would have loved to see more on the old Goat, for sure!

Congrats @jimi911! Well deserved. It's a beautiful thing that bike.

@ibbz You're selling it!? Not sure I'll ever wrap my head around putting so much time, work, effort into a bike (thread, BOTM competition, Etc.) and then immediately sending it on it's way.

Although I guess it's different for everyone and of course, money needed is money needed.

Meanwhile...

Ouch!

;)

That was a bumpy first rodeo.

Hehe! No love for Italian MTB’s - even very rare ones, even harder considering the competition.

The Venturi is now for sale as need the funds for the house and next project
Ibbz I reckon you should split it mate as there's a lot of money tied up in parts there as we both know 😉

Congratulations to Jim, another great bike and build. Lots of great bikes again this month, many deserving of the win

Congrats to Jim on the win. When that bike showed up I figured the competition was over . Stunner and one I’d be proud to own for sure. It was a pleasure participating and the Ultra faired higher than my expectations. Says something to the respect and appreciation for the old rigid mountain bikes with simple yet elegant component.
