Not the fanciest of Kona’s, but way back in 1991, a brand new 1991 Fire Mountain was where it started for me. That one has long since gone, but found this one 4-5 years ago, pretty much all original including the Kona Maximum/Reaction tyres.

kona lavadome project,the original green paint had seen better days so started a wee refurb. the paint was stripped off the frame forks and stem,then the polishing started(IT took a while)new decals tyres cables bb etc. polished up the cranks bars post before getting it put together for getting...

Some really nice bikes submitted here already, and a beautiful idea for this months theme in the first place.

Hard to imagine the man himself wouldn't have loved it...

Anyway, right now my vote is with the the 92 Cindy, but only because of that epic Kona shrine behind it!
