Carry an air pistol and shoot the waste of space then shoot the owner for having a badly behaved dog not on a lead
perhaps only lay out the owner for creating the monster in the first place and then re-home the dog to someone that will actually train it. :?:

I nearly flattened one cutting through the local park the other night. It was a small brown mongrel type and i had no lights and the park was unlit.

I Just caught a glimpse of it from 3 feet away and pulled[violently hauled  ]the bike to one side.I think my pedal may have clipped it.
Very very lucky for me and the dog,the speed i was going[yes, without lights in an unlit park ,in the dead of night  crazy i know, but i blame these discs for making me more reckless  ]
I think if id hit it,then it was one dead dog and i'd be in plaster for months

a waterpistol will do the trick just nicely...aim for the eyes....they dont like it up the noses apparantly...

:? Er... Wouldnt you be better aiming at their nose then

if i aimed for the nose id hit the eyes...sods law ect...this way makes sure you get them in the right place

But as long as you carry it and don't let it touch your sub 22lb bike it will still ride like a whippet ; it's like carrying an extra stone or two around the waist doesn't effect the bike

I'll give them a swift sharp kick - enough to warn them - it's as much for their safety as mine...
