As I read somewhere else, would the Daily Fail have printed that story if it had happened when everyone had a day off for the royal wedding? :roll:
 
but the school didnt have to close the teachers didnt have to strike etc etc

nothing to do with the daily Mail, this is about 9 mins down the road from me.

Its called the Teacher's duty of care.
 
And the Council really should have checked that branch, or better still, chopped ALL their trees down , just in case :roll:

oh that already happens and is well documented. But, the teachers should stop whining and just do the job they're paid to do, just like anybody else has to.

They want to do the job they're paid to do but for that they want to receive what they signed up for. It's not the teachers (and others, wasn't just the teachers on strike) asking for something extra, they just want they're contracts to be honoured.

What would you do lgf if some one tried to take tens of thousands of pounds off you?
