Just a personal list for reference, some good, some bad and some I just plain regret. Am sure some of you on here have had so many retro bikes pass through your hands, it would be impossible to remember them all here’s a list of my gone some were part bikes, frame and forks or complete bikes.

I'm not even going to attempt a list, bikes bought to ride, just to see how they ride, to salvage parts from, to do up and move on etc.
My signature is a car crash and needs updating too :facepalm:

Yes it’s nice to see how they ride, totally agree.. I thought I better write a list somewhere before I start forgetting. Thankfully my signature is up to date, I still have 7 bikes left, and a few projects on the go as well. The down side is, I haven’t got anything I want to sell for funds for future projects now!

Not enough internet space to list mine.

In September 1986 after servicing my first ever (bullmoose bar) MTB, one of the neighbours saw me 'repairing' (no internet back then so mostly frustrated faffing) and promptly gave me 13 Peugeot road bikes 'to do up and sell on for pocket money'. Some of those models would be a bit pricey now but that set me on the path to some 1200 to 1600 bikes or so.

Maybe even 3000 if I included every bike found at the tip or carboots and passed on.

@Cheshire1980 quite a few of yours are listed as 'too big, sold'. How did you come about having them, as surely you knew what size you wanted? Or was it a case of just wanting to save them (which is totally understandable of course! )

I bought a couple of 21” frames early on when collecting, thought it would be ok, could have a short stem etc..never worked tho! another few were advertised as 19 inch but were in fact 21 inch.. :facepalm:

Looking at your list & signature I see a sparsity of P7's. Is it too late for your interest or not an Orange you rate?

Being a relative newcomer I've not sold a retro bike yet but will be parting with a frame & fork that's too small. Sticking to 19".
