Bike stolen :( (Ribble 531 drop bar racer) London

Cheers LGF, I may need to take you up on that.

I made it down to bricklane and didnt see my bike, however I suspect I did see my handlebars (Cinnelli Criteriums, which had a scratch where the left hand lever mounted...my left hand lever took a bit of a hit and rotated around a little...certainly enough to do the same sort of scratch.)

It was being sold by the dodgy OAP orientals who sell loads of bits quite evidently stripped from bikes left chained up.

The whole market makes me sick.

I did see a couple of police confiscating bikes from a couple of scragly crew cut gimps which made me feel a little better.

I am now left to commute on my RC100, which certainly will not be left outside alone...at any point

I'll donate some of my road parts I have for sale if it helps.

It sickens me that you can't own something without someone else trying to take it.

Bad luck on them getting an old friend, keep your eyes open though, might find the scrots are local and your bike is still in the area.

Also be careful as to where you put those locks,or else this may happen-

Keep and eye on gumtree. I got my bike back after the spod who nicked it advertised it for sale. Gumtree is chock full of moody bikes.
