I’ve been in here a ā€œfewā€ times since the poll went up. Still no closer to picking a winner. The only conclusion I’ve come to is every one is fantastic! Immaculate builds which show the time and effort taken to achieve the results we all aspire to. Hats off to all contenders, each a worthy winner. I’m just going to have one more look, pick the one I’d most like to own and hit the button. Seems like a cop out but it’s the only way I can split them. As was said previously, i think it’s gonna be a tight vote.

Yes, only three bikes left.. I have two rules: no singlespeeds, no flats... That Is, never vite for a bike I wouldn't ride as It Is. Integralism... What else can you expect from a site for old guys?

You’re an SPD man through and through then :)

For me, the majority of flats need to have toe-clips, so I kinda get what you’re saying, though some styles (early rounded/Suntour types, or later downhill/slalom types) would be the exception in my eyes.

Personal taste is odd isn’t it? I couldn’t bring myself to vote for a bike with SPD’s I can’t even imagine myself using them on a road bike!
