Big pink thing

Received this yesterday - not to everyone’s taste I’m sure, but it’s a very nice example and can just be admired with very little effort repairing/overhauling etc

1992 Raleigh Apex as god intended, the same as my original one that I had back in 92.

It’s big, it’s heavy, but I get some much pleasure from looking at it due to the nostalgia it brings (which I guess is why most of us are here right!)

Also makes me appreciate just how much nicer my Cinder Cone really is out on the road :)

That looks like it's literally been stored in someones airing cupboard. From here the condition looks remarkable!

Agreed! I’d say it’s 98% mint. It’s certainly 100% original I believe (saddle?)

There are some very very minimal scratches, the crank arm on the left has a slight bit of rub , the seat post etching is marked and the decals are a bit tatty (nothing Gil couldn’t rectify), but I’m just going to leave this as is I think and relish in its originality and completeness :)
