BIG BOUNCY (or maybe not) FRAME NEEDED ASAP

This 20" I-drive has been on for a few weeks now. I keep looking at it knowing it's too big for me, but still wondering what day I'll eventually give in and buy it anyway.

I'm sure you've seen it and there is probably a very good reason why you're not taking it (surely 20" will fit 6'3"?), but for £70 posted...?! A steal!

Thanks, I have seen it but it's not floating my boat. Can't say why. But a bit red when everything on it will be reds also. The box 2 is mental enough and should fit the bill and build into my kind of 'car crash'

Evening :D Could you give me some sizes please inc BB and headset dimensions as im looking for something to hang this lot on. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=280762

I'm a big heavy boy so could you also give eye to eye on the shock in case i need to think about a stiffer one. Does it lock out? (6'3" 17st)

Where are you in birmingham?

thanks THM (M5 J9 ish)

lol, i just messaged Martin,(bryncrug) who i got the frame off,to see what size he is, i knew he was a big fecker.

from googling, the frames come up big,

http://www.northwestbikers.net/index.ph ... ike.17908/

i only had it built up for a short time, but it did have a relatively long stem, that and from the bike link above it seems there is room for manoeuvre in getting the frame to fit( seatpost stems etc) and from that link it looks amazingly futureproof, and especially if you are coming from a 19, there cant be much in it.

my gut tells me you are slightly too big, but then if it fitted bryncrug it would fit you.

i think youre gonna need to upgrade the rear shock or at least the spring.

if you are gonna be at the twizzler im happy to bring it along to see what you think.

will get more measurments in the morning, it is 1/18th headset, from memory it was either a 73 or 68 shell

Hmmmmm. Was hoping it was more like 21/22 The 19 MF was always a bit small and was bought before I knew any better.

Again, have been warned off single pivot due to mt weight and size but will have a think. Still the front runner. Would like first refusal while I do some research. Measurements will help. Twizzler may be a possible.

And it fitted you ok?

Clincher!

I'm 33 inside leg but 20 inches floor to err....
