Best user names on here? And 1 you wish you'd had instead..?

Re:

and I thought it was only me who in their eagerness to register gave all of 2 seconds thought to a user name

The History man made me laugh when he first joined as he mis-spelt "History"

would love to change my forum name, as I think its limp to say the least, I know it can be done as
Ridevintage was once Ameybrook, and Coleman was Nevada Smith

not sure we'd get the site Admin to keen to give up anymore of their time to correct our oversights,
but if they did I'd certainly like to be on that list

You lot have certainly picked this one up and run with it!

I really did want to change my name, but was told it has to go through John and as he's a very busy man, it may take some time. Plus, you're not then instantly recognisable from your handle any more, although members like 'Ollie' don't seem to have lost much by changing their names, we all soon caught up.

But certainly I don't think it would go down well with admin if half of us decided we fancied a name change once in a while....

Perhaps we could have 'AKA' or 'formerly known as' as part of our status....

Oh and the back is still killing me, so no doubt I shall think of another useless thread to start from boredom later on....

Well a bad back lasting this long means only one thing and that's got to be at least 3 pints of " Scrumpy " :) .

If you think of any more threads like this one Kaz then it certainly won'tbe useless ;) ..

Re:

my handle is lame cos I've never been to a rave and am not likely to now either.
I really like 'rekiborter' for 2 reasons:
1. it is 'retrobiker' spelt backwards but you don't notice that straightaway
and
2. 'rek, i borter' as in 'wreck, I bought her' - making reference to the person's inability to buy a good bike perhaps? or just coincidence?!
who knows

Have just been checking the consequences of low doses of codeine with alcohol Muddy, and decided to have a cider, but I'm struggling to drink it as I'm so knackered from lack of sleep....

Not sure I have another useless thread in me tonight, so to speak.

Theirs no enjoyment in drinking when your falling asleep as you can't see the glass to drink it from  no really if you can't see the glass properly then you'll just have to use a straw ;) .

Lowish dosess of pain killers usually isn't harmful while drinking but it does tend lessen the affect of the medication .

I'll wait till tomorrow for you next useless thread if your too tired to thin of one ;) .
