I'd like to ask Sinnerman, how does one end up with such an awesome collection?

really isn't that amazing or any different to any other members contributions, im thinking of Gio or The Godfather for Example.

Threads like these jog peoples memories, there are a lot of members here that never post because of nonsense like this, but they do send email and pm, to say they have such and such in there shed garage etc.....and it goes from there.

The Joy of starting here five or more years ago, to my mind little was thought of or understood of British Bikes (with the odd exception) and it was overlooked in favour of more heavily marketed brands that were imported. This obviously cost more even today, postage/import costs, etc, it seemed to me at the time that a lot was being passed by in favour of American brands for reasons above etc.

It took 10 years to find the Stratos, and the Hardisty was pure Luck, The Zinn over page was all thanks to this site and help/heads up from members.

Posting pics, raises awareness..., posting adverts, reviews, bike tests expands what I consider to a Valuable info, encourages members, and expands the possibilities of finding a Handbuilt bike, that would have once been overlooked.

Its my take on it anyway.

Here here...spot on matey!

I could not have put together most of my builds without the help of a few (now) very good friends from this site. It makes all the difference.

Sharing the knowledge and pictures helps to inspire and expand the interest of others and the spiral continues...

WOW, some lovely additions to the thread, Keep it up fellas, Its what this threads all about, (the Mercian saved and restored to former glory, and the Pace, where has that been hiding..?).

Wow, a couple of crackers for page 6. That Pace is awesome.....and my size too!

After ogling the splendiferous British bikes posted by others, it took me a while to remember most of my main rides are also British
