I am going to vote Van Halen.

Adding, somewhat non characteristically honestly, that I never listen to music whilst riding. Except the old Bolero. Or random ukulele.

:)

Ignite, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Black Angels, Digitalism, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, 90s stuff like Guns'n'Roses, AC/DC.. ;D

Firestarter or Fuel My Fire by The Prodigy always used to do the trick when I was in the mood for hammering down a hill...

The Archers theme tune.
I listen to Radio 4 quite a lot. And have tried the odd time to listen to The Archers, but can't get into it.

But the theme - there's something pathological going on for me when it starts - I literally feel compelled to turn it off, either change station on the radio, or switch to a CD or something.

It's not as if I really hate it, or even hate The Archers that much (albeit wouldn't choose to listen) - it's just some compulsion I feel whenever the music starts - I even, now, either switch stations or switch to a CD in anticipation after the news has finished, sometimes missing out on an interesting "trailer" for Front Row.

Must stem from aversion developed in childhood...

The Archers theme tune.

Mainly because it suits my riding style.

should be the national anthem.

as for music when riding, soulfly or selputura, especially when riding in heavy traffic

Jump - Van Halen
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Learn to fly - Foo Fighters
Goin' Crazy - Diamond Dave
Just Like Paradise - Diamond Dave
You got the blues, not me - Diamond Dave

Reckon there's something of a trend, there, in my choice of mountain bike music, pop pickers.
