Same frame as my first MTB (the Maverick GT), this was about the peak of that frame hung with XCT. I loved riding that bike and when it got wrecked I wanted the Team Replica, but as I'd upgraded insurance paid out enough to enable me to afford the 531 version with XCD. I didn't get it, instead a Holdsworth Hardtrack which was too big for me. However some year later I tracked down the 531 frame in team colours and built it with XC Pro/Comp. I haven't ridden it in a while but it's my keeper, along with my Claud Butler Anteaus 653 (owned from new in 1993), will have to drag it out again.
