Benefits Paradise

The flip side is the TRILLIONS..the government (we?) have spent and are spending bailing out the City Toffs....

Erm, ...are we forgetting

Lloyds chief Eric Daniels is ready to take the bumper payoff when he leaves the bank this March - on top of his hefty £1million pay packet

and

It follows news that fellow bankers Stephen Hester, head of RBS who also had to be bailed out by taxpayers, and Barclays chief Bob Diamond are set to pocket awards of £3million and £8million

Too easy (and granted, it is very easy...I hate it too) to isolate some 'scroungers' without seeing a bigger picture.

Small fry compared to these mussels

Generally I would agree, those people are greed incarnate.

My caveat is: there are only a few of them and they are normally productive in a tax paying economy. Plus; they live off our greed & when they win we benefit too.

My neighbour is the 3rd single parent to live in that house in a row in 2 years, An example of millions of a new underclass who's only productivity was to reproduce faster than rabbits and make a very decent living out of us for doing so.

And were they born 'underclass'?

Course not, most people in the west have a choice, my neighbour and the ones before her choose to live this way and happily admit it.

Probably because it's so easy to do so.

In-fact the first one to live there, (no word of a lie on this) was a single dad, who frankly admitted to me, that he needed to find a crack head or alcoholic woman to give him his 14th child cos his youngest was getting too old.

He happily admitted that it was the only way he could secure custody and his income. What can you say to that when he lives next door in an identical house to which you bust your balls to keep up the payments on?

So what??
There's good and bad in every part of society.

For anyone who honestly thinks that a life on benefits (even with kids - the supposed meal ticket ) is a joy, where the coffers are full of taxpayers hard-earned and there's a 52" plasma on the wall of the 5-bed detached in Surrey should have a bash and see how the reality lives up to the expectation.

anybody seen idiocracy?

its becoming a state of mind for me, hopefully im just being paranoid but i believe its not the case

if you havent seen it please do
