So what you are saying is if you keep throwing your toys at the big lad that lives next door, sooner or later he's going to kick your feking head in.
Well if you want to mangle metafors any further I'm saying my nasty older brother is throwing toys at the big lad next door so I get a kicking and then feel aggrieved enough to join him in ambushing the bully or the bullies relatives next time around.

That's the problem so many sick fucks on both sides that I truly believe the chances for peace are effectively zero.

So you and your nasty brother try and ambush the bully and he still kicks your feking head in, and when he's finished, his relatives jump up and down on your head just to make sure you fully understand how serious they feking are.

*sigh* actual your point being what exactly? Most of the key people involved aren't entirely rational and incapable of stopping.

My point is Baroness Watshername is just trying to look good in front of the ethnics by using UK politics while kicking herself up her own arse.

Best to stay well out of it, and concentrate with what's going on in the UK. She can also go to Gaza if she feels the need, but just not bother coming back.

Re:

Is this a suggestion all the 'non-ethnics' are fine with what is transpiring? Well that amounts to zero then, unless you actually think there is such a social group.

It really is gonna take a deep breath, pause, a willingness to forget the past if the region is to have a peaceful future.

Unfortunately I don't see that ever happening with the extremists on both sides constantly holding sway.

Hamas and others deliberately send provocations to Israel confident in a massive overreaction in return which then breeds more martyrs and more radicalisation.

It's possible, look at Northern Ireland as a case in point. Some horrible, horrible acts committed by both sides for years with rifts going back hundreds of years, now living in relative peace.

That's one hell of a paradox there. If Hamas did it to radicalise the population and swell it's ranks as you describe, it wouldn't work. You don't simultaneously believe your organisation is a cynical ploy to get your people killed to drive recruitment (which you claim), and also believe that you're doing it to protect those people (which is why people reason joining).

In addition to not making the slightest bit of sense, it's an accusation that could be levied at literally everyone losing any war at any point in the history of mankind. You'd have the same amount of proof from Hamas to WWI Austria to Caveman Urk and his tribe: Zero.

Britian does have a moral obligation on this conflict given we took land away from the Palestinians and gave it to the Isrealis. I would hope we are as fervent in seeking a resolution as we seem to be chasing Putin.

Re:

The Russian question really underlines what globalisation means for countries that don't support the actions of other countries they otherwise rely on for energy supplies and other major trade.

The EU really needs to find a way to cut Russia off completely.

Then where do we stop? We really ought not to be dealing with China, but it all comes back to money.

As far as Gaza is concerned, I would like to see a peace keeping force on the ground.
