Balance bikes

Do you think it will take my 13 stone ...

I printed pictures off of this and the islabike version and although I can see the advantages of the islabike this can be had cheaper and my daughter (and GF!) keep picking out the hotwalk ...

At first glance, the Rothan's seat is a far better shape for a littl'un, being much harder to slip off from. It'll also go significantly lower (which is important - my youngest has the seat right down on his, and he's not unusually short for his age), and the bars are at a more appropriate height. Also the Islabikes has a brake, although the one we've got is an old one which doesn't and it's not been missed much -- at that age they can't do much useful with a brake anyway.

How much does the hotrock weigh? That's massively important. The rothan's are SUPER light which makes everything easier, including the point where you have to lug it home (trust me...)

"Approx. 8.75lbs (3.97kg) (PLEASE NOTE: Weight is approximate and is provided by Evans Cycles as a guide only, actual weight may vary due to manufacturing processes and other factors)"

Nigh on identical to what islabikes quote for the rothan :D (including the word approximate )

That's good. What's the price difference?

Hotwalk is just less than £100 :D but as it can be sourced from normal bike shops it opens up more opportunities for staff discount ... ;-)
