is anyone familiar with this British marque?






pedals are Phillips Apollo

came with Huret Allvit gear ensemble but not known how much of that original

came with 26 X 1 3/8 wheels, rear hub barrel marked with Sir Walter "R.I." logo, 5V gear block Atom

date marking on bottom bracket spindle of "6 - 61"

pump peg appears Cyclo

excavation found a retail cycle shop with the Drake name but no evidence they ever did a housebranded cycle

aware there is also a Drake marque in India, this iron pretty clearly of U.K. origin

I think latterly it became one of the many marques swallowed up by Raleigh industries in the 1950's .
I have a nos Head badge that came off the Raleigh production line .

serial certainly appears it could be R.I. but puzzled by combination of N and W marks

how could a cycle be both Nottingham & Worksop?
