Araya Muddy Fox MF26-I SPR

Re:

Absolutely fantastic 8) 8)

How are you getting on with the LE tech front mech ? I have one but not fitted it to anything yet

Re:

Thanks for the kind comments folks!

The garden has taken over pretty much all of my Retrobike/garage time for last year or so. Got about another years worth of work to do with planting etc. The reward will be a man cave at the end where I can tinker with my bikes and look at the view.

Re the Le Tech mechs - the front works a bit like the Shimano Rapidrise system. By this I mean the cable tension is increased when you shift to the granny ring. It is sprung to sit on the outer front ring when not under tension. So far I haven’t been able to get it under enough tension to shift to the granny ring despite adjusting the limit screws and cable tension. Rear mech works really well, set up very easy. So some fettling to do, also need to set up the brakes properly before my first ride out.

Epic! Muddy fox certainly pulled out every stop with this model. I think the only other brazed MF I've seen was the Ltd edition late 80s one with gold Suntour xc9000. This one is nicer!
