Anyone know anything about these parts?

They were a German company and had some sort of tie-up / association with GB components at some stage?
ah, interesting, Ive got an odd brake caliper, identical to the one in the pic, but badged up as GB. Very early form of dual pivot.

I have some GB badge engineered Sychrons on my Continental - work beautifully. Power of a CP brake with the simplicity of a SP type.

Thanks guys for the info. Do you think the original parts should stay on, or a Shimano or Suntour groupo would be better?

Depends on whether you want to keep the machine original or 'upgrade' some elements of it. Id keep as is, but thats me.

I understand what you mean. I guess originality makes it better. The one thing I would like to upgrade is the rear derailleur as it is not original and is a Shimano SIS.
