I have an amp that has thrown it's toys for no obvious reason, it has started blowing both of it's 15amp fuse's as soon as it turns on, even with no load hooked up.
I don't want to get rid as I have had it some time and it has trim pieces made to fit around it.

Any electronic experts may be able to take a look?

If it is blowing fuses with no load then it sounds like a short. Could also be a buggered capacitor.

Remove the case and check the capacitors (the cylinder type things) - the silver top should be nice and flat. If any are bowed outwards then the need replacing.

that wouldnt blow it, more likely a power transistor has popped or part of the power supply - Apache is your man

The caps are a common problem, but the symptoms are more related to odd behaviour and then just failure.
