Any O2 gurus in re blackberry

In May I took out a contract with O2 with a windows phone, I hate it. Having played around with a button blackberry (9780) I'm tempted to out the windows phone to the sprog and get myself a blackberry.

I've been told my standard O2 sim will only allow txt and calls and if I want to use the Internet and bb mail I need a blackberry specific sim ? If I do is it more expensive or the same price but less than my current minutes/txts/data

I'm going into the O2 shop in the morning but thought I'd ask here just in case too

You don't need a BlackBerry specific SIM - but you do need a BlackBerry specific data plan as the one you have now is a standard smartphone data plan.

Assuming you're going to be using the same SIM card as you did in your Windows phone, you can just phone O2 customer services and they'll swap the plan over for you so that you can use the BlackBerry with your current SIM and contract. It won't cost any extra.

The only thing you MIGHT need is a SIM adaptor, depending on what size SIM the BlackBerry takes. The O2 store should be able to give you one for free. It's only a bit of plastic.
