Any love for the old Carrera’s here?

As you can see from my profile it’s mainly GT, my first mountain bike was a Raleigh Lizard which I still have but when I went into Halfords to get it I couldn’t help dream about the Carrera Quattro Comp GT. So last year I found a lovely one that I will hopefully rebuild this year in the stunning grey marble paint scheme. The Carreras as someone mentioned above were always great value and mostly had top end components fitted. My Quattro comp is full xt slr, mavic rims and Reynolds tubing. Saying that it did cost around £650 when it was new!
Any pictures?

One of my old mukkas had a B52 bought new from Halfords, did 1000's of miles on it and loved it. He and the bike then emigrated to Australia with a woman. Unfortunately that didn't end up working out and he ended up coming back in with just a suitcase.

He's never got over the loss of leaving that bike behind.

Let me know if the frame is destined for the bin or very cheap, I could make his year!
