Any insight into this bike?

Hi all, I've just bought myself this bike for £10 for a little project over the winter, would anyone here know anything about this bike? Model year etc?

All I have so far is this image and the description from the listing "Gents 21 speed bike"

Odd. From the colour of the frame and the style of the decals it looks like it's either a Tempo or a Panther. Tempo was 5 speed, Panther was 10. That's got a double chain ring but only set up for 5 gears (single lever, no front mech and no tunnel or stop for the other cable). Both models had drop bars which that bike used to have as those are drop levers fitted to flat bars. Saddle isn't original either.

from what can be seen in image appears to have commenced life as a Black Diamond, or lower, model (bottom of the range)

the frame's bulge-formed head is an Agrati item
frame ends & pump pegs look to be Cyclo

the welded fork crown is NERVEX pattern Nr. 4

this began as a rock bottom machine so does not merit a large investment of time or treasure

if you want to go through it and repack all the bearings & replace the consumables to get a well running and roadworthy cycle that would be fine should you envision retention and use

...or if you wish to do it as a learning project
in terms of funds it would take more to bring it up to full roadworthyness than it would be worth upon completion

so it would be wise to embark only if you intend to retain & use
