Mauro Ribiero, was he the first Brazilian tour stage winner? I think so, iirc

Wow.

Every so often a bike comes along that makes the rest of us look like amateurs, this is one. Just looking at the pictures I can hear the echo of Phil Liggetts voice!

Hello Gridno27,
I own a TVT92 HM frame and fork set that used to be Richard Virenque's one in 1992 when riding for RMO.
I am now considering rebuilding it according to original specs and therefore would be nice to get in touch with you as your replica is top nutch and I am sure you can help me a lot :)
Just let me know if you are interested in
Thx

Hi JujuChacha, I own a `92 RMO team Bike that belonged to Mottet`s mountain domestique, Dante Rezze - its in full "as ridden" spec, full mavic, and if I`m brutally honest the Mavic groupset is not good enough for the frame - Mavic fans don`t throw stuff at me, but seriously, the brakes are almost impossible to keep sweet (compare to campy monoplanners...), the rear derallieur is clunky, clicky and jumpy (compared to a Campy C record) and the shidters wander around as if by magic!

I guess is your building a bike as a show piece, then go for the full Mavic, if your riding it, campagnolo or DuraAce all the way...

Also, if your frame is genuinly Virenques, then why not sell it to me? I love a real team bike....
