Old School Hero
I built this one a couple years ago. Great looking bike and such a nice ride. The frame's too big by one size so I sold it to a friend. After a year in Alberta it's back in my hands. It still feels too awkward to throw around on technical stuff, but it's ok for mellow trails and booting around town.

A mix of M900 and 950 series XTR, XT thumbies and pedals, with a Marzocchi Z2, Paul's brakes, Ringle on WTB wheels, a Flite Carbon on a Syncros Ti post, Race Face stem and a Syncros bar. Rapid rise and XT thumbies are an interesting combo. Both forward for taller gears, both back to climb. I don't have to think about shifting thumbies any more!
