Amy winehouse

liked her music but got bored with her and her stupidity, the drugs, the idiot boyfriends, the fake tits the daft hair, and constantly looking a state falling about London and elsewhere.

she became more famous for being crap than for her original music.

i am not surprised at all.

I have No sympathy or surprised.

I hope this does not direct attention form the real tragedy in Oslo and the shootings on the island.

Meanwhile BBC news have cameras and a reporter outside her house for full coverage. I mean, what are they expecting to happen? She's not going to get up again.

Keith Richards has. Several times.

How insensitive of her to attempt to upstage a nutter's rampage...

This.

As to her music, didn't do anything for me. I could recognise she had musical talent - but all the same, talent squandered is, well, feckless.

All the same, I think people around her, no doubt, had their own interests - and the celebrity industry that has been the last few years has some bearing.

That's the thing isn't it - it was practically inevitable.

There's a lot worse things happen - and have - and yet it will get a lot of focus and hand-wringing, and all the time, I very much expect, people around her with self-interest first and foremost, indulged the situation.

Feel sorry for her parents having to watch their daughter behave like an utter *****

With any luck it'll be Pete Doherty next.

Yeah, I'm sure they'd prefer her dead than to have to watch her make a spectacle of herself.
Some people amaze me...

I doubt it, he tried to make her go to rehab.

She said no, no.... no.

Anyway, interesting that you've bothered to comment on some junkie pop stars death but you've nothing to say on the 'Norway' thread which refers to the murder of over a hundred innocent people, most of them just teenagers.

Some people amaze me too.
