Amp Research frame

In good condition but does need servicing to bring back up to spec.

Size Medium
Top tube is 22.5" C-C
Seat tube is 17" C-C

I'm not an Amp expert so I'm not sure if this is a B2 or B3.

The frame is free of cracks and dents but as you'd expect from a frame of this age it shows sign of wear, discolouration and some sticker peeling. The linkages are OK put probably need servicing and the shock may well need servicing. Consider it a project bike.

Frame will be well packaged and couriered to you.

I think it's actually a B2, going by the twin downtubes?

I had a B3 and it just had a regular single downtube.

You are right B2  i didn`t saw that, the twin downtubes.

But mine B3 has a single downtube.

There was never a B-1 model. The B-2 was the twin-downtube and the name was a play on the designation for the US Air Force's stealth wing bomber. The B-3 was the single downtube. B-4 was the interrupted seattube mac-strut, and B-5 was the full 4-bar linkage. Sometimes people confuse the forks for the frames, so you see people calling an F1 fork as a B1.

That's a beauty, my favourite AMP. If you had a cro-mo F1 fork to go with it I think i'd have taken the plunge :D
